About us
A small studio, a whole country
We are a handful of Greeks in Athens who believe the best travel feels less like a package and more like being handed the keys to a friend's homeland.

Our story
Born from a love of home
Ellada Travel began with a simple frustration: watching visitors leave Greece having seen the postcards but missed the country. The crowded viewpoint at noon, the same three islands, the meal chosen by an algorithm — and just around the corner, the Greece we grew up in, unseen.
So we started arranging trips for friends of friends. A skipper here, a family taverna there, an island with a single ferry a day. Word travelled. Fifteen years later we are a studio of insiders — sailors, sommeliers, historians, fixers — but the idea hasn't changed.
We still plan every journey by hand, for a limited number of travellers each season, because that is the only way to do it well.
What we believe
Principles we plan by
Local before all
Nothing goes into an itinerary that we wouldn't send our own family to. Every place is one we know first-hand.
Bespoke, always
We don't sell packages. We start from a blank page and your story, every single time.
Care in the detail
The chilled water at the transfer, the right table, the timing of the light — the small things are the whole thing.
Trust, quietly kept
One contact, honest advice, and someone reachable the moment a plan needs to change.
“I want our travellers to feel, just once, that Greece belongs to them a little. That's the whole business.”
